Recruit University of Cincinnati students, graduating seniors and young alumni for co-ops, internships, and full-time jobs at our Professional and Technical Fall Career Fair, September 9 (virtual), 13-15.
The fair typically attracts upwards of 1,700 students per day – primarily in engineering and information technology (IT) on the Technical Days; and in business, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences on the Professional Day.
Most employers prefer an in-person fair, but a substantial minority prefer virtual for its convenience and low cost, so we offer both virtual and in-person options this fall. Employers must register separately for the virtual and in-person days.
We have also adjusted the schedule to avoid creating a disadvantage for students and employers who observe the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur on Thursday, September 16. We will hold the expo in the morning and early afternoon, with optional on-site interviews in the late afternoon and early evening each day of the in-person fair.
As for other on-campus recruiting, many employers now schedule information sessions and interviews directly in Handshake and use targeted messaging to reach out to candidates. Check out Handshake’s advice on how to engage early talent.
We look forward to welcoming employers back to campus for the fair, but as the global pandemic continues, all plans are subject to change. Employers who register for the fair can change or cancel their registrations through August 27 without penalty.
